REPORT SUMMARY: NEFTALY RESEARCH TEAM COLLABORATION WITH SPARROW
It is with respect and appreciation that we submit this report regarding the collaboration between the Neftaly Research Team and Sparrow, which commenced on 27 October 2025 and concluded on 26 February 2026, spanning a productive period of four (4) months.
During this time, the team worked diligently and maintained a professional and cooperative relationship with Sparrow. The collaboration was marked by commitment, resilience, and a shared focus on achieving the research objectives. Despite various operational challenges, the team remained focused and ensured that deliverables were met within the agreed timeframes.
We would like to sincerely express that, should future teams be assigned to work with us, we kindly request individuals with the same level of dedication, professionalism, and positive attitude as Otshepheng Lesele, who worked throughout the project without complaints or problems. Her commitment, reliability, and teamwork significantly contributed to the smooth running of the project and set a strong example for others.
Over the course of the project, team members joined at different stages, as reflected in the records below. Each member played a valuable role in strengthening the team and contributing to the overall success of the collaboration.
Technical Challenges and Reporting
During the project period, there were instances when the Neftaly website was not operational due to technical issues. During these periods, alternative reporting channels were communicated to the team to ensure continuity. All required reports were submitted through the designated platforms provided at the time.
Therefore, any gaps that may appear on the Ideas platform should not be interpreted as omissions or negligence. The team remained compliant and ensured that all reporting obligations were fulfilled using the alternative systems made available.
The team worked collectively and responsibly to ensure that research objectives were achieved despite these interruptions. While all members contributed to the assigned tasks, it is noted that three individuals did not consistently submit daily reports, and in some instances, absences were not formally reported or explained. This observation is respectfully recorded for accountability and improvement purposes in future collaborations.
